He’s known for his smash hit singles, sexy hip-hop dance moves and acrobatic performances. 

But, Jason Derulo, 29, has sparked concern after being spotted in Toyko, Japansupporting himself with a pair of crutches before being pushed through Haneda Airport in a wheelchair on Friday.

The singer – who has joined forces with Puerto Rican artist Farruko for his new single Mamacita – was seen signing his autograph onto CDs as he was assisted by airport staff.

Jason showcased his edgy sense of style in washed-out grey jeans adorned with textured patches. 

The Marry Me singer added a sporty edgy with a plain black T-shirt and an Adidas tracksuit jacket.  

Bringing splashes of colour to his attire, the star slipped into oriental print high-top trainers and wore a purple baseball cap atop his head.

Jason wore oversized shades and multiple earrings to complete his look.

The Don’t Wanna Go Home R&B star was practising a dance routine for his concert when the accident happened.

He landed badly and suffered an acute fracture to his vertebrae, miraculously avoiding paralysis.

After his recent hit Goodbye (with David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj and Willy William), multi-Platinum artist Jason Derulo has released his new single Mamacita which features Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Farruko.

Jason and Farruko both feature in the track’s new music video, which was directed by Jason and features Emma Slater, one of the key dance talents from the Stateside edition of Dancing With The Stars.

Mamacita comes ahead of the release of the film adaptation of Cats, which will see Jason join a star-studded cast alongside Jennifer Hudson, Idris Elba, Taylor Swift, Ian McKellen, Judi Dench, Rebel Wilson and James Corden.

Cats will hit the big screen on December 20th from Universal Pictures.
